70 OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

4 Rds, game 70, 5 sec
delay. Plaques to top 4 places in each
section. Anyone who is a current member of US Chess may play, but only a player
who lives in region 7 will earn the title of Region 7 Game 70 Open Champion for
all three sections. Swiss sys will be
used with tie breakers. Swiss style
pairing. Come compete against the top
players in the region. All individual competition. Separate plaque for region 7
champion. Must play all rds unless given
a bye for pairing purposes.
Tie breakers will be
used. Players can play up but not down.

Three sections: 4 rounds-SS,
G/70 SD (5 sec delay) 600 and under,
1100 and under and 1101 +
USCF current membership required, USCF rules, Rsvp on line for first 100 players
On-site registration
requires ½ pt bye for first rd. Only
Byes requested before end of first rd will be honored. First requested bye is ½ pt, all others 0 pt.
also needed is proof of current
membership if on site.
Fees: $15 if on
site $20, and player must present current uscf membership proof if registering onsite
